• Constructive Dialogue: Engage in discussions with the intent to share knowledge and learn. Disagreements are natural, but they should be handled politely and focused on the topic, not the individual.
• No Trolling or Flame Wars: Do not deliberately post inflammatory, irrelevant, or offensive comments intended to provoke or disrupt conversations.
• Privacy: Do not share personal information of other members without their explicit consent (doxxing). Respect the privacy of others.

Content & Posting Guidelines

• Stay On Topic: Keep your posts relevant to the forum category and the specific discussion thread. If you have a new question, start a new topic in the appropriate category.
• Descriptive Titles: When starting a new topic, use clear and descriptive titles that accurately reflect the content of your post. This helps others find relevant discussions.
• Search Before Posting: Before asking a question, please use the forum's search function to see if your topic has already been discussed. This helps avoid duplicate threads.
• No Illegal Content: Do not post or link to any content that is illegal, promotes illegal activities, or infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights (e.g., counterfeit goods, pirated software).
• No NSFW or Obscene Content: Wholesale.Forum is a professional community. Do not post content that is pornographic, sexually explicit, gratuitously violent, or otherwise obscene.
• Language and Clarity: While we are a global community, the primary language for posting is English to ensure broad understanding. Strive for clear and understandable posts. Avoid excessive use of slang, jargon (without explanation), or ALL CAPS.
• Formatting: Use formatting (like bolding, lists, paragraphs) to make your posts easy to read. Avoid excessive or distracting formatting.

Advertising, Promotion & Spam

• No Unsolicited Advertising (Spam): Direct advertising, unsolicited promotion of your products/services, or posting of affiliate links is generally prohibited in most forum areas. This includes repeated posting of the same message across multiple threads.
• Signature Links: You may typically include a brief, non-intrusive link to your business website or professional profile in your forum signature, subject to any specific signature guidelines.
• Designated Areas: Some forums may have specific categories (e.g., "Marketplace," "Member Services") where limited, relevant promotion is allowed. Always check the rules for that specific category.
• Value First: The best way to gain recognition for your business is by providing valuable contributions to discussions and establishing yourself as a knowledgeable member of the community.
• No Link Farming or SEO Schemes: Do not use the forum primarily for building backlinks or engaging in SEO manipulation tactics.

Account Security & Responsibility

• One Account Per Person: Members are generally permitted one account. Creating multiple accounts to evade bans, impersonate others, or manipulate discussions is not allowed.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account password. Do not share your login details.
• Impersonation: Do not impersonate other individuals, businesses, or forum staff.
• Accurate Information: While not all profile fields are mandatory, provide accurate information where possible, especially if it pertains to your professional identity relevant to the forum.

Moderation & Enforcement

• Moderator Authority: The Wholesale.Forum moderation team (Moderators and Administrators) has the final say in interpreting and enforcing these rules. Their decisions are aimed at maintaining the health and integrity of the community.
• Reporting Violations: If you observe a violation of these rules, please use the "Report" feature on posts or contact a moderator directly via the Contact Moderators page. Do not engage in public arguments or "mini-modding."
• Consequences of Violations: Rule violations may lead to:
  • Content editing or removal.
  • Formal warnings (private or public).
  • Temporary suspension of posting privileges.
  • Permanent ban from Wholesale.Forum.
• Disputing Moderation Actions: If you wish to discuss a moderation action taken against your account or content, please contact a moderator privately and respectfully. Publicly arguing about moderation decisions is generally not permitted.
